The Yukon Arctic Ultra is billed as the toughest Ultra Marathon in the world during which temperatures can drop to -50 degrees plus wind chill. On average 75 contestants join the Yukon Arctic Ultra race every year from Europe, China, the US, Canada and Australia. Only half finish the race.

Lewis, Alan and Phil will trek 300 miles in 8 days, dragging all their equipment, food and bedding with them. They will face a whole host of challenges including: staying hydrated, maintaining the correct body temperature, and keeping their water supplies from freezing.
