Hundreds of thousands of street children across sub-Saharan Africa face huge challenges every single day simply struggling to survive. More than finding food, shelter and protection, their greatest challenge lies in finding HOPE amongst the violence, fear and darkness of their daily lives.
Inspired by them, Lewis Moody MBE, Alan Chambers MBE FRGS and Phil Wall (Founder of HOPEHIV) are taking on their greatest challenge to help make that HOPE easier to find. They will battle the elements during the 300 mile Yukon Arctic Ultra in February 2013 to raise £300,000 for HOPEHIV’s work with street children in sub-Saharan Africa.
